Dua For Bathroom – Bathroom Ki Dua

Toilets are the most filthy places in our homes. It is said by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that the toilet is the abode of devils and jinns. As we know, Satan is the biggest enemy of Muslims, and Jin can also harm us. Like for every act, our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also teaches us the Dua For Bathroom. You have to pray the dua before entering the toilet.  

Dua For Bathroom - Bathroom Jane Ki Dua

Dua Before Entering The Toilet – Baitul Khala Jane Ki Dua

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) used to recite only one dua while entering the toilet. It is given below. Here, we include bathroom jane ki dua in Urdu, English and Hindi. So you can easily understand its meaning.

Dua For Bathroom in Arabic 

بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْٓ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَآئِثِ

Bismillah Allah-umma inni a`udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba’ith 

English Translation

O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things( evil deeds and evil spirits).

 Urdu Translation

اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ، اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں خبیثوں اور خبیثیوں سے

Hindi Translation

अल्लाह के नाम पर, हे अल्लाह! मैं दुष्टों और दुष्टों से तेरी शरण चाहता हूँ

 Allaah ke naam par, he Allaah! main dushton aur dushton se teree sharan chaahata hoon.

Narrated Anas: Whenever the Prophet (SAW) went to answer the call of nature, he used to say,

 بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْٓ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَآئِثِ

Dua After Leaving the Toilet – Bathroom Se Nikalne Ki Dua

Dua for leaving the toilet is so simple and easy:

غُفْرَانَکَ

‘Ghufranaka’

اے اللہ: میں تیری بخشش کا طلب گار ہوں۔ 

O Allah: I seek Your forgiveness.

हे अल्लाह: मैं आपसे क्षमा चाहता हूँ।(he Allaah: main aapase kshama chaahata hoon.)

Related Hadith:

Aishah ( May Allah be pleased with her) said: When the Prophet (SAW) would exit the toilet, he would say: غُفْرَانَکَ (Ghufranaka).

(Sunan Tirmizi Hadith # 7 Status: Sahih)

Etiquettes For Using the Toilet

You have to keep some important things in mind:

  • Say dua before entering the bathroom, not in the bathroom.
  • Always use your left hand to defecate or wash yourself.
  • It is forbidden to face the Qiblah or turn your back to Qiblah while urinating or defecating.
  • It is better to urinate while sitting. In this way, you can avoid impurity.
  • Wrapped up your clothes while sitting in the toilet.
  • You can also use stones to defecate when you don’t have water.
  • Don’t talk in the bathroom.
  • Don’t cry in the toilet.
  • Don’t spend too much time in the bathroom.
